Glass Lantern Slides
Glass Lantern Slides were used to project still images onto movie theater screens. They are glass as you might guess from the name and they measure about 3 1/4 " x 4". This particular group is from around 1917. Most of them are advertisements for silent movies. You can click on the image to see a much larger version of the slide.
